Press release of the completion of the 1st mountain running race “Koziakas trail”

The first mountain running race “Koziakas trail” ended with the best impressions from visitors and athletes. A race that was set up and inspired by local people, who care about their place and really want to see it acquire the value it deserves. A race dedicated to the rescue of the white-tailed eagle, which is our mascot, and is held in direct collaboration with the Greek Ornithological Society.

We believe that we achieved what we dreamed of and finally managed to set up a very good race on the beautiful mountain of Koziakas that left everyone impressed with its beauty. Our goal is for the race to become the biggest sporting event in the region, with a bigger attendance every year and we believe that with our seriousness and through the success of the event we have made this clear.

We sincerely want to thank all of you athletes who honored us with your presence in the race and we promise you that next year we will be even better, with the event having several surprises in its program until then.
